How is the comp. Sc. Major at swat? Do most students obtain employment or go to grad schools (which ones)?

This shows where comp sci (and other majors) go after graduation (see page 10):

I’m a current student having taken 6 classes in the CS department. In general, the department is extremely friendly, which is one of the main reasons I keep taking classes. Professors have an open-door policy and there’s tutoring sessions one night every week for the each of the three intro classes. Most professors are very clear in lecture and supportive outside of class.

The major is becoming more popular so the classes can be relatively large (30 people) compared to the average class at Swarthmore. I’m hoping this can be remedied soon with new prof hires. This is also good in its own way, since I have lots of friends who been convinced to switched over from engineering. Students also come from Bryn Mawr and Haverford.
