What's the difference between LS&A computer science and COE computer science?

In terms of the actual computer science curriculum, nothing. If you’d rather take humanities and social science classes and think you’d choose something other than engineering if you switched from computer science, apply to LSA, if you’d rather take chem and physics and would switch to engineering if you changed your mind from computer science, apply to CoE.

i applied for comp sci in lsa, so i could also minor in philosophy.

You can minor in philosophy in CoE also.

Is there any difference in internships/jobs between the two, or is it pretty much the same?

They are the same. CS-LSA majors (and informatics majors I think also) get access to Engineering career services.

There’s that tingly feeling inside you only get from being an Engineer though…
