If I plan to move to west coast, How much reputation does RU with its name, carry ?
And the RU Screw?</p>

I am an International Student. So rutgers will overall cost me around 39k. Worth the money ?</p>

<p>Or should I opt for other cheaper options like Stony Brook University, NYC and Virginia Tech ? Both will cost me 5K less.</p>

<p>I think their CS department is pretty good. The people I know who graduated with CS degrees have very good jobs. I know a current sophomore student who has an internship lined up for the summer. Rutgers has regular career fairs and will send you job postings on a regular basis.</p>

<p>Class sizes tend to be large in the introductory courses.</p>

<p>On the west coast, I think that Rutgers has the most name recognition of the ones you listed.</p>

<p>The RU Screw- Rutgers is a huge school and once in awhile you get burned. Just like real life. Don’t worry about it.</p>

<p>I recently got to know that the CS program of Rutgers isn’t ABET-Accredited. Is that something of a worry, Do many employers take that into notice ?</p>

<p>Also, which are common IT Tech companies that regularly recruit on-campus and give internships ? </p>

<p>As it goes, CS majors not only excel by grades but by side-projects and other activities that build their resume. What are some opportunities Rutgers provides in this matter ?</p>

<p>For the first two years as part of SAS, Which subjects are students taught apart from CS ? Any link you might know of?</p>
