I had a 92% average and didn’t get into my top two Waterloo and u of t. I got alternate offer or geomatics at Waterloo.
I got admission to Ryerson, Queens, and Laurier (with some business minor or something at Laurier)
Program quality/job opportunities/etc is the most important for me.
Co-op is preferred (not sure what the deal is I know some schools have it starting 3rd year etc)
Social life is good to have but not a necessity.
There’s also a chance I’d get in at u of t Scarborough or Mississaugua.
Where should I go to get the best of my program and all around A?
I forgot to add, I’m 99% going to do my MBA after my bachelor. Should I consider transferring from one school/program to another after 1st year?
If the Laurier program is the Double Degree one, I would go for it. Otherwise, I would probably choose Queens out of the schools you have now, since it’s a solid university, and better social scene (Ryerson has many commuters).
Also, you don’t do an MBA right after getting a bachelor’s degree. You’ll need to get work experience before you can enter an MBA program.
Queens hands down. If you don’t mind commuting, Ryerson isn’t a bad choice either.
It isn’t the double degree, unfortunately. I’m thinking Queens now too, great school, good internship program and decent everything else. Thanks
Yup, I would definitely go for Queens then! Good luck
