Computer science vs financial engineering

Hello.

I am Columbia SEAS student.

My major is Computer Science , but I am considering change my major to financial engineering(B.S ,not M.S).

Because, financial engineering major is better to get an offer from IB.

Actually, I wanna be a financial analyst.

However, it is taking a risk to study financial engineering cuz it is very narrow and specific

study area, so I can not work any other field without financial engineer..right?..

Anyway, help me plz. which major is better to get a job?

which one is broad way to get a job?

p.s , this major is not M.S..!

Thanks,

From what I have heard, you can get into finance as a CS major. Your chances will be just as good. Your GPA is going to matter more than which of the two majors you’re in.
