If it did, what were your thoughts and your daughters' thoughts about various schools?

I think poor Concerneddad got caught up in the events in New Orleans where his son attends Tulane. Perhaps he will have some time soon to give us a full trip report. I sure would be interested in hearing his thoughts and impressions.

Yes, and thanks Carolyn. I was just getting ready to begin my school by school report, when I had to deal with my son's evacuation from New Orleans.

We visited, in this order, Goucher, Washington & Lee, Warren Wilson, Hamilton, Skidmore, U. of Albany (Hey, they are the Great Danes and I had to visit the bookstore to get some "gear"), Amherst, Smith, Brandies, Wellesley, Harvard, and Haverford. Fortunately, I had a digital voice recorder with me, so I saved my impressions of each visist. I will try to start my posting this week.

CD

Wow, that's quite a tour! Looking forward to the report(s)

Yes, almost 3 weeks on the road

Our list overlaps with yours , so I'm really eager to compare notes and impressions.

Gotta love those 3-week road trips! I'll be very interested to read your trip reports.

Interesting about the Great Danes; I wonder if there's a college with the Labrador as a mascot.

Bump. Have things settled down yet, concerneddad? I am interested in hearing what you have to say about these schools.

I have not seen concerneddad in a while either and he was usually a regular on the Tulane Board. I also saw him on Tulane live chat, but not lately. If we don't hear soon, I think I will email him (or at least PM; I forget if I have the email address).

If you didn't know, his S had stayed in New Orleans throught the entire time of devastation as part of TEMS (Tulane Emergency Medical Service), was trained by FEMA and was providing aid in many parts of the city. His dad, and the University (and all of us hangers on) are very proud. But I am a little worried that we haven't heard lately.
