I talked to the admissions office, they said that if you get denied from SMPA, you are still considered for admission to the regular college? Anyone have any experience or insight with this?

i was told by students who have applied to the smpa and by two different admissions counselours that yes, if you are denied from the smpa, you can still be considered for admission to the college. the admissions counselours just said to make sure to indicate that you would like to be considered for the college too, just so the admissions committee knows.

ahhh i want to get into political communications so badly.

Last year my son was EDI, denied SPMA, but offered admission to CCAS. He's loving it. But he is still going to try to reapply for SMPA next year.
