Hey
I'm an SMPA freshman applicant and on my App Status page, the place next to "GW College" it says that I'm applying for the "Columbian College of Arts & Sciences". Isn't it supposed to be School of Media and Public Affairs??

I double checked my common app and my GW supplement and in both those applications I checked off the SMPA box next to the question about what college I'm applying to.

so is this a mistake on GW's part? Or did they put CCAS just because SMPA is part of CCAS too???

if not, then what should i do? i dont want think to think im applying for CCAS when i'm not!

SMPA is part of the CCAS. SMPA only has a small number of spots for freshman applicants. If you are not accepted into SMPA freshman year, but qualify for admission to GW, you will be admitted as a CCAS freshman and can apply again for admission to the SMPA in the spring of freshman year.

I called the GW undergrad admissions a week and a half ago to get mine. They never sent it to me and i was getting impatient. I'd advise trying that.
