June 14 I went to Foster The People, and I honestly thought that they were amazing. I actually didn't think they would be that good. But yeah, that was pretty much my first concert. I went to Hilary Duff and The Jonas Brothers when I was in like 6th/7th grade (yay for teeny-boppers) but I don't really count that.

And in August I'm going to FUN., I am beyond excited.

Tech N9ne back in October.
I’m going to warped tour next week.
I go and see a lot of local bands play because our area has a pretty big scene for it and it’s relatively cheap (Gas costs more than the admissions ticket).

I’ve seen:
Linkin Park
Foster the People
Kings of Leon
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Maroon 5
Rage Against the Machine
The Mars Volta
Queens of the Stone Age
Avenged Sevenfold

In order (for the ones with multiple times, I’ve used the most recent time), only counting teenage years where I went willingly:

Good Charlotte (regret it)
Pink Floyd (actually Roger Waters, David Gilmour, and a bunch of other people who weren’t Pink Floyd)
Three Doors Down
Queen + Paul Rodgers (was expecting this to be as lame as the Pink Floyd show, it was actually really cool)
Green Day
Music as a Weapon (starring Disturbed)
Battle of the Bands (Local bands, Ziggy’s grand re-opening)
Rock the Block (local bands) x3
Skillet
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Carolina Rebellion x2 (So much epicness here)
MerleFest (the last one with Doc Watson alive, I’ll keep that in my memories now)

N.B.: The “local bands” concerts I mentioned were still big shows in big venues. This list doesn’t include various taverns, parks, coffee shops, etc. where I’ve seen local acts.

Not too long of a list, I really hope to go to more in college.

My Chemical Romance x2
Blink-182
The Monumnetos
Screaming Females
HKPOE
Dan Potthast
The Fad

I really haven’t seen a lot, since I’ve only been allowed to go to concerts for about two years now, and a lot of my favourite bands are dead. Hopefully, though, I’ll see more when I’m older.

I went Warped Tour back when I was in 8th grade.
