Concidering Med school

I am a high school senior getting B's and C's. I am graduating in mid January and then attending a community college. After that I hope to go to Illinois State University. I want to become a forensic pathologist, but I am afraid I wont make it past the MCAT's and into med school. I dont want to plan my future in med school if there isnt much of a chance. I know med schools are very competitive and Im not sure I will bring enough to the table. Is there any tips you can give me other than getting my grades up? I've been told that majors arent that important but does it matter what college I go to? Should I go to one that has a medical school attached or will ISU work fine?

anything is fine...my cousin went to Queens College which is a city school in New York and went to one of the finest medical schools in the world afterwards. Go wherever you want but just do well.

The only suggestion i can give you is dont give up on yourself, or question yourself like you are already doing...STOP THAT....go through it all and see what happens if you dont get in you dont get in, but if you do then there ya go! But if you just give up on yourself now then its like you never even gave yourself a chance and youll be kicking yourself for the rest of your life.
