Concurrent Bachelors: Psych and Anthro

Would getting two bachelor degrees in anthropology and psychology at University of Michigan be feasible? Or would this cause the undergraduate period to extend past four years?

Provide more information. Are you coming in with AP credits? Are you willing to enroll in spring/summer or summer terms? How many credits on average will you be taking each term?

Plenty of AP credit including AP spanish for the undergrad language req. Also AP psych, does that count towards the psych degree? Summer courses wouldn’t be a problem. I could go as high as 15 maybe 18 credits per semester, but 12 to 16 is the ideal range.

I don’t think taking AP Spanish will get you anywhere. Sure it will get you credit, but I’m pretty sure you still have to demonstrate 4th term proficiency by taking a class or the placement exam. Also, no AP courses count towards concentration or LSA distribution requirements - you ONLY get credit for them. Fifteen credits is the average number taken by students at U-M. If you take 12 credits, which is the minimum to be considered a full time student, each term (fall and winter), then you must come in with 24 AP credits to graduate in four years. If you take 16 each term, you will be fine.

I think you will be fine graduating in four years if you double major in Psych and Anthro. In fact, I think this is quite common.
Hope this helps!
