On the portal it says that UCSB costs 35K but then my expected contribution is 30K, so does that mean i pay 35K or 30K?

@barca101 Does it show if you received any financial aid? Maybe the $5,500 in Federal Loans? If you go to the admissions page where it shows you were accepted, there is a link at the top that says ‘Check My Financial Aid Status’ Click on that and on the next page click on ‘Unofficial Award Letter’, then click on ‘View Your Financial Aid Shopping Sheet’ and that takes you to the page where the financial aid is broken down.
