Confused about how much to pay

<p>So I'm going to the University of Texas this fall, and I have some questions about how much I have to pay.
Here's the COA:
Tuition: 5163
Room and Board: 5056
Books/Supplies: 437
Transportation: 600
Misc/Personal: 1212</p>

<p>So how much do I actually owe the university?
Just the tuition and room/board?</p>

<p>Usually book/supplies, transportation and personal expenses are expected to be paid out of pocket. You’ll pay the college directly for tuition/fees and room & board if you’re living on campus. So 5163 + 5056 = 10219 to the college.</p>
