Since SAT Reasoning tests are required at most schools in the country, quite a few aren't allowing score choice for reasoning tests. These are listed on the CollegeBoard site. I'm confused if these rules apply to the SAT Subject Tests, as for the vast majority of colleges, they are only "optional" or "recommended", but not required like the SATs. If they are recommended, they can't require you to not use score choice on an OPTIONAL test, right? I mean, I see how they can block you from using score choice on the reasoning test, but can schools prevent you from doing it on Subject Tests if the school doesn't necessarily say they are required?

and the list even only refers to the reasoning test, listing policies for (M+CW+W), the areas of the SAT reasoning… so that makes it even more confusing

Yes, I’ve wanted to know this too. Anyone?

I’m sure there are differences but Yale has said clearly they want to see ALL your standardized testing history. So if you took the ACT twice and the SAT-I once they want to see ALL three test scores. And if you took multiple SAT-IIs they want to see them all too.

Haha Yale’s not happening for me… what about moderately competitive schools, not ivy leagues, who are all-choice
