Can anyone help clear up some of my confusion?

So I know the common app has sections to report SAT and AP scores. I did that. But I'm applying to Upenn and they want to see every single score sent directly from the testing agency. Does that mean I have to send them every single test from collegeboard? By the time I apply that will be 3 SATs, 3 subject tests, and 4 ap tests. Thats going to be pretty expensive because I don't qualify for a fee waiver. Also what if there is a subject test or ap test that I don't want to include? Do I have to send them anyway?

There are also schools like BC who require scores sent from the testing agency but don't say that they need every single test. But how would I choose which test to send? I don't have my highest score in one sitting but I want them to see my superscore.

How much does it cost to send scores anyway?

I asked my guidance counselor last year when I should send scores and she said not the worry about it until this year. I'm afraid I should have sent them last year to save money.

The default option for sending SAT scores is to send all sittings of all (SAT and Subject tests) scores. So, you will be able to send all scores for one price. You do not submit AP scores (which are sent separately from SAT scores) when you apply, you send them only to the school where you choose to matriculate so that they can determine credits and placement.

Read the test reporting policies of each school. If a college uses Score Choice, then you can omit scores, if a school like Penn says they want to see ALL scores, that’s exactly what they mean, no omissions are allowed.

You need to send all sittings that you want included in the Superscore.

Click the fees link from the page I gave you above.

Possibly. You get 4 free scores each time you sit the SAT, but if you want the scores from your last sitting to be sent, then you’d have to wait until the end anyway.

Please, if you go to the primary source (in this case the CB SAT webpage), you will find the answers you need 95% of the time and you will be assured that they are accurate.

There is just one thing I’m still confused about… it says it costs $11.25 per score send. So does that mean each SAT score I submit costs $11.25 for each school?

$11.25 sends all of your scores (all sittings of the SAT and Subject tests), or whichever ones you choose via Score Choice, to one school. So if you’re sending scores to 10 schools, it will cost you $112.50.
