Confused and demotivated- US colleges

Hello guys
Even though I have used this site multiple times it is my first thread. This is going to be a long one and I really need advice.
High School:
IGCSE (Olevels): 3A<em>'s 5A’s with a country wise distinction in Business Studies (Finished 2011 Aug)
Alevels: A</em> A and a B. (Finished Aug 2013)

While I was doing my Alevels: I did some thing called ACCA ( bad mistake). Its an accounting qualification from UK. Done more than 80% with it. (Completed 11 out of 14 exams still today)

SAT: was too scared to do it so never did it. Preparing for it right now. Trying to get 2100. (sitting in Nov 2014)

Extra C: Head position for a year in promoting Education is School
Teaching business studies to mature people who dropped out of high school or failed multiple times
Teaching for free in a school in a backward area with multiple threats from the terrorist. ( 3 months)

So I did actually to the University of Kentucky for a semester ( Aug 13- Dec 13) GPA 3.4 (35% scholarship). Dropped out because of limited money and not felt like it is the place for me.

One more thing, ACCA gives me a BSc (hons) in accounting after i complete the 9 exams and 1 research paper. I tried the research paper while I was in Kentucky and failed miserably. So now I can only get the degree with the grade capped at C and Upper Second Class. Refer to Class of Degree ( link: <a href=“http://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/help/oxford-brookes.html”>http://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/help/oxford-brookes.html</a>)

Now I am so confused if I can make it to a good School. I am 19 right now, 20 in December. I feel depressed because even after working so hard and taking care of my family after my Dad left the army because of metal illness. He makes around 20,000$ a year. He is getting so much better opened his business and it seems to be working now.

This is a lot of information but I hope I can get some help from here. I would really appreciate your help and motivation. I would come back with more info of the other options I have in my country. I am an international student.

You’ve had some challenges. Glad to hear your father is doing better. Don’t give up. Talk to your Project Mentor. Talk to advisor about completing your requirements.
What steps are you taking for SAT preparation? What is your goal?

It looks like C is the highest grade in that degree chart (lower averages for b, A degrees). So that seems like a good outcome is still possible. Do you want that degree? What do you plan to do with that degree? If you are awarded that bachelors degree I would not think you would come to the US for a second undergrad degree, but would you have a graduate degree in mind? If you still want to come to the US for undergrad studies, you would be a transfer student. Requirements for transfer students differ a good deal between different schools. What schools are you thinking about applying to in the US?

If you get that degree, you won’t be eligible for financial aid at undergraduate schools. You’d have to go into a Master’s program and it doesn’t like that’s the subject for you.
As of now (without that degree), you’d still be able to apply as a transfer student to some colleges in the US.
Are you an American citizen?

Hey guys
I am so sorry for the late reply. I check for a while and then SAT and office took so much of my time.

I will be coming to do undergrad not grad because that degree is not what I want to rely on when applying for jobs. I am a pakistani citizen. That degree isn’t with anything except to get some credits.
I did the Princeton review course and stil workin on it. I think I might not be able to pull more that 2000 on the SAT.

My goals are to come to the U.S, complete my bachelors and then do CPA or CFA. Very confident that I can pass CPA in one go. Took the exams for fun and passed them all. It’s pity they don’t accept my BSc degree otherwise I would go directly for CPA.

I am thinking about UNIVERISTY IF TEXAS, university of Texas Arlington, university of Alabama, university of Ohio, univeristy of Illinois. And univeristy of Toronto.
I am at least looking for a full tuition.

If not america, I might to Toronto, and try to settle there somehow. Have cousins and they are ready to help. But I want the legal way and there is no place like America so thats where I would like to go there!

Any more thought guys?

If you have a Bachelor’s degree from another country, you cannot be eligible for any financial aid. Period. No full tuition, no partial tuition, not anything, period, regardless of SAT score or GPA or achievements. Financial aid is designed to help you pay to achieve your first degree. How you regard that first degree has nothing to do with it.
If you don’t like that course of study, stop. But if you have a B.Sc you have very little choice.
BTW one year of B.Sc from Pakistan still qualifies you for freshman entry at many universities (due to the way the system there is set up) so check that out, but if you have a B.Sc you’re a transfer.
The American universities you name do not provide financial aid to international transfers, except UAlabama, which does for some transfers, but no full tuition. And nothing if you already have a degree.
Check out policies for Canadian universities, emailing each to ask questions as to your situation.
