I am very confused. I got an AA degree at Daytona State College. I took a year off and i've decided to go back for the spring semester. I have been doing alot of searching for schools in new york and florida. But the major i'm going for is a bfa in acting and i've realized that the bfa programs in colleges and universities begins in the fall. Do you think it's a good idea to enroll in a school for spring and then transfer to another school or I should take spring off and just work to save some money. I just applied to university of central florida for spring. Do you think it's a good idea to go attend the school and get some credits, then try to transfer to a four year school somewhere. Also I would like to know about great SUNY schools that have an excellent BFA acting program. Any answer will be appreciated.

Have you asked this question at the Theater Majors sub-forum inside the College Majors forum? Someone there might have ideas for you.

If the programs that you are interested in only start inn the fall, there probably isn’t much point in taking classes this spring. You’d just end up paying for a bunch more credits that aren’t likely to apply to a BFA.

suny purchase has a good theater/drama department
