My friend is an international student from India. She has got SAT score 1950( cr 580, maths 710, writing 660), 92.3% (3.7 GPA) in 12th grade. She wants to do computer science and have got admission in USC and UDUB in spring 2015, She is really really confused between the two can someone please advice me which university can provide better job placements after earning graduate degree???
PS: She hasn't got direct admission in either of the universities. So She will be changing major. Will it be easy to change to computer science major?

I didn’t know UW did spring admits. USC is higher-ranked overall, but if you want to do computer science, UW is the place to go. However, CompSci here is super competitive, so she’ll have to do really well to be able to get into said major. Job placement-wise, I think Seattle’s pretty great–here you have Boeing, Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Expedia, etc. as potential employers. Not sure about Viterbi, though.

Honestly, your friend should be the one asking these questions, not you. After all, she’s the one who’ll actually be attending after making her decision. Good luck!
