Hi, I’m a junior living in New York State and was wondering what my chances are at Boston College, Colgate, Niagara University and Syracuse University. Thanks!

I’ve taken 6 AP classes and 7 IB classes.
I’m an IB diploma candidate.
I go to a highly competive public high school, nationally recognized for challenging curriculum and academics.
I’m a first generation college student.
My school doesn’t do class ranks
My intended major is business administration

Key Club: 2 years
Mock Trial: 2 years
I have ~150 service hours
For Niagara and Syracuse you are golden. For Colgate your GPA and SAT’s are on the low end, however, the rigor of your curriculum will make up for that. What are you looking to study? How did you end up with this list of schools? They are all very different from each other. I would encourage you to add many more schools to your list.
@akin67 I want to sudy something in the business field, not 100% sure of exactly what. This isn’t my full list, just a few of the new additions. I chose Colgate because it has a beautiful campus and is a comfortable distance from my house (don’t wanna be too far or too close), Syracuse because again it’s a good distance from home and it’s a popular school in my hometown. NU is on there just because it’s close to home and I was kinda planning on it being a “safety”. I chose BC kind of just as a “wonder if I could get in school”. If I got in it would be a serious contender but it’s a little too far from home. I think it’ll be easier to cut/add schools to my list when I visit more school. I’m not too sure on anything like location (rural/city) yet so that’s why the locations kind of vary.
Unless you consider economics business, Colgate does not offer a business major. If economics works for you then add Hamilton, Skidmore, Vassar to your list as well, since these are excellent schools. If you are definitely looking into a business major, then maybe also consider adding Rochester, Cornell, Binghamton, and Case Western to your list. These are not too far from Buffalo.
