<p>I have already submitted my ED application to Smith. But resently my parents decided that they can pay more to the college.
I contacted Student Financial Services,and they said I can change the amount. Because, I am an international student, the family contribution is an important part in the admission. So I also contacted the admission office to change the amount on the common app supplement. But, what confused me is that some told me that they can change it while others said they cannot and I should contact SFS.
So, if SFS change the amount on my FA application, will admission office change it, too?
btw, do they work during weekends? I think perhaps I should contact them by phone.</p>
<p>Either phone or e-mail and ask for a response. If you phone and reach whatever understanding, ask for a follow-up e-mail confirming your conversation. On stuff like this, you always want a paper trail.</p>
