An initial, official, transcript has been received. Please request that your high school send an official, final, copy after high school graduation to the Admissions Office, P O Box 160111, Orlando, FL 32816-0111.

Does this mean they won't make a decision until after they receive the final transcript after graduation?

Also, he is in a dual enrollment class now, which won't complete until June. It also states on his page that they are waiting for that transcript, which obvioulsy won't be available until June also.

He's still in but they want the final transcript. They want to make sure your son doesn't slack off, because if they see on the final transcript that he's getting c's and d's or DCA's or something, they could take away the acceptance

The first one is basically an automatic computer message that you only need to pay attention to if your son is accepted to and decides to attend UCF. You'll get a decision soon.

But not until you get that dual enrollment transcript to them. Even though your son may not have a grade in the course, they need the transcript to verify he is indeed taking it. Order a transcript from wherever he's getting his credit from. It won't have any grades on it, but it's needed.

Thanks, I will call the school and see what they can provide. (It's only an Italian dual enrollment class, you would think it wouldn't really matter in the admissions process.)
