confusion about textbooks

sorry i know there are already lots of threads about this, but i still have some confusion about this whole textbooks thing. my questions are:

1) if i reserve textbook online now can i still pick them up at the price center and pay there? or is it too late now?

2) are the used books on the textbook website as expensive as the used books sold in the ucsd bookstore? should I order the used books online or should i get them when i get to ucsd (will they run out fast? & whats the difference anyways) I'm planning to buy books on ebay but i'm afraid the profs might assign hw on the first week of school so i'll just get the books from the bookstore then return them. Is it hard to return? (i mean as long as it's within the first 2 weeks it's fine right) and are there students selling books during welcome week?

3) can i order books sent to my ucsd mail box now? or do i need to wait till the 21st?

thanks!

You can order things sent to your campus address only if they will arrive on or after the 21st. They were very clear that they will not accept mail before that date.

The bookstore order form is online at <a href=“UC San Diego Bookstore”>UC San Diego Bookstore;
