Confusion on essay

Hello,

I am very confused. Claremont McKenna college requires for its supplements to write an analytical essay on topic "Choose someone, fictional or nonfictional, historical or contemporary, whom you consider to be a leader. Suppose you are this person's primary advisor. How would you advise this person and why"

Okay. But when I read your examples in the internet, people, exactly for CMC analytical essays, I can only see there why you think this person is important and what has he/she done in life. But where goes the advising part, like, when she/he has been wrong, I can't see any advises from you to that person in these essays!

Can somebody please tell me how to write such an essay? Because I seem to have gotten it wrong, as I read other people's essays, but they on the other hand seem to be missing out the advising part!?!?

this one has more advising in it
