Confusion on top percent/class rank?

<p>My class rank (I'm a sophomore in HS) is currently a 24 out of 665. </p>

<p>I divided the 24 by 665 and moved the decimal place over 2 spots to the right. I got 3.6%.</p>

<p>How do i understand what this means? Is this my top percent or something?</p>
