Stupid question: How to get your class rank percentile?

<p>I don't know if I'm being retarded at the moment or if I have amnesia or something...
However, you get your class rank percentile by your<em>rank/#</em>of<em>people</em>in_class, right?</p>

<p>For example, if my rank were 27 and we had 532 people, I'd do 27/532 and that would be about 5%. Therefore I would be in the top 5% of my class?</p>

<p>Correct? I just want to make sure, I'm kind of confused at the moment. :(</p>

<p>Technically, only the top 26 are within the top 5%, as 27th puts you just outside 5%. But yes, that’s how one calculates it.</p>
