I am very confused about the timeline when you are applying. I sent out inquiry forms and still haven't received all of the packets but that's ok. I'm going to schedule my SSAT in november so I don't have to do that for a while, but do I need to fill out the application before I do my visit and interview? If anyone out there could clear things up, that would be amazing. Thanks (:

dont worry about the application now, you can fill those out later, just schedule a tour/interview for now.

thats what i thought, but people are mentioning how they try to put you with an interviewer who is a good fit…? I’m just confused as to how they would know that without a application. And without your application, I’m guessing they don’t really look at grades and test scores then?

I actually plan on going to my interviews after I turn in my entire application. It will give them more questions to ask, and in turn, I can have a more interactive interview; a better interview.

I heard for one school you should submit your candidate profile (not essays) before interviewing so they have an idea of what you are like. This probably isnt the case for most schools though.
