Congrats, you got into UCLA!

^ Exactly…

nothing wrong with this thread at all. it’s actually quite delicious

If this post has terrified you, good, cuz it means you’re more grounded in reality than you were before reading it.

To make any informed decision, you must be aware of the consequences…the potentially dire, life-destroying, janitorial-occupation-enforcing, consequences…

Don’t worry about a single brush stroke, worry about the picture, fool, which I hope is of a sexy woman.

I see weirdos like this jane person obsessing over which college she’s gonna get into…and it makes me laugh to know that her ‘dream’ will most likely destroy her other dreams in the end.

UCLA is a dream cannibal that consumes other dreams and ****s them out as failed possibilities that reek with the foul smell of GPA-dropping, sleep-losing, psychologist-seeking irony.

That is all.

my dream is to get accepted into the University of California system.

I have been accepted. I am excited and happy about that. Getting into UCLA would be awesome but if I dont get in at UCLA or Cal. i will be fine.

my dreams are too many and i can get back up again if they are destroyed.

weirdo…?

me?

imma unfurl my freak flag and raise it high.

even I didnt apply to UCLA (waiting for Berkeley and USC), this topic is sick…LOL just because everytime I look at it it still shakes me like HERE IT COME THE LIFE OR DEATH DECISION LOL

jeff3737, I sense that you’re annoyed with the overzealous posters on this board but there’s no need to attack people.

By the way, I was fine with your posts up until you attacked jane. Sure, some of these people need to be taken down a peg, but what you said was just f-ed up.

there’s always a need

^ spoken like a true ■■■■■

jeff3737,

My sister went to UCLA. Then she went to Stanford. And now she’s living her dream.

So before you go about trying to spread your depressing disease of hopelessness and inevitable failure, you should realize that the stresses of going to a competitive school end the moment you graduate during which time all the stress pays off as the doors to your dreams open for you.

Jane and all the other students on this website that have the same mindset of Jane understand something that you don’t seem to: we can achieve, we will achieve, and we will stay focused on our dreams knowing that we can and will reach them.

If that, for some odd reason, offends you then I pity you and your skeptical perspective.

Yeah, I don’t get the whole “let’s attack Jane” thing that seems to be cropping up lately. Here you’ve got a gal who is excited to not only go to UCLA but also to help out fellow admit-hopefuls when she can.

I thought this thread was interesting at first, and maybe worth keeping the caution in mind, but now it seems like it’s just an elaborate passive-aggressive ■■■■■ at Jane. As if what CC needs is more ■■■■■■■■.

yeah–im glad jane shared the information even though it was false.

and she has scanned documents and given advice to everyone so its okay that she got this one thing wrong

Awww, I think she got an unnecessarily bad rap for that too. She passed on some info she thought was legit and it turned out to not be. Everyone will forget in another week.

Really it could’ve been worse: she could’ve announced that UCLA had WMDs.

His elaborate passive-aggressive post was directed towards the enthusiastic/obsessive members on this board. I mean, come on, it’s collegeconfidential… you’re allowed to be obsessive. Jane was the scapegoat in all of this… poor jane.

jeff3737, man dont even worry about everyone coming to janethedoe’s rescue. i dont understand how shes the scapegoat when she set herself up. and i laugh at the people underestimating the next level of education because of how easy they have it at their community college. i would like to see how many of you are still happy-go-lucky when you get a wake up call during your time at a real college.

how the **** does it make any sense so many people are giving this dude grief for such a real and honest thread, and you got people like janethedoe getting praised for making threads 100x worse.

It’s cool. Females are a rare commodity on these boards I’m sure, and judging by the fact that she advertises her gender in her little screenname thing, Jane probably exploits the horny man situation to full affect. Right on, jane, no hard feelings…just hard peni*es. ;)

I just feel like I need to prepare my little birdies for the realities of the world before they can spread their wings and fly. I want them to realize how high up this nest is, and how far the descent to the cold, hard ground. Many birdies think they’re ready for flight, but they overestimate their strength, and their little overzealous wings cannot support their fat, misjudged ambitions. The ground is unforgiving. It has no sympathy. Just ask the skeletons of all the little birdies that thought they could.

Seriously. You better flap those fing wings. There aint no cold or hot fronts or whatever to help support you. You’re on your own. No safety net. Noone to catch you if you fall. And if you’re intimidated by a little post on the internet, be prepared to your little birdy pants once you make it to the big leagues.

Jeff, stop being such a hype man, your posts are so stupid, lol…

Like getting in to Med. School, right Jeff?

Now your little birdies are chicken nuggets

Aww such a mother hen… how cute.
