and I am excited. I do like UVa, and at least I'll have someplace to go (that's not tufts...<em>looks around nervously for tufts people</em> sorry! >.<)</p>

<p>Congrats, Zante. It's a real accomplishment for an out-of-stater to be told that UVa wants YOU. Most out of staters would be ridiculously lucky if they got offered admission in April, let alone be told early that they were of the highest caliber.</p>
<p>Just some general thoughts on the likely letter:</p>
<p>I have to say I liked Dartmouth's version of the likely letter a lot. "There is no question that when we mail our final decisions in April, you will be offered admission to the College" and "The college admissions process is unnecessarily long and anxious for many students" were beautiful lines.</p>
<p>Duke's was pretty sweet as well. Although I can't say I was one of the select 350 likelies there, that's another really standout group.</p>
