Congressional Certificate Gold or Medal Bronze

Last June, my current high school junior son registered for the Congressional Award. Although he will fulfil his goals for Silver, he had not registered early enough to fit the time requirement. Which award carried more weight a Gold Certificate or Bronze Medal? Although he won’t be able to use it for college application in the fall, he may be eligible for the Gold Medal by the end of his senior year. Thanks in advance for any insight.

Assuming that these are awards for disabled/special needs students who set & meet a goal, I do think that there is any value in the college admissions process beyond demonstrating community service.
