If I meet the requirements for the gold medal by time of college application (will be receiving the medal FOR SURE.) how do I designate such on a college app? The medal is only given out during June of each year. </p>

<p>The US Congressional Award is a program which a student signs up for themself and sets goals him/her-self. I don’t think colleges will care if you earn it. It’s something to include, but it isn’t hard to earn. It’s just that most people don’t know it exists.</p>
