<p>My son received an email saying decisions would be announced Wednesday, March 26, by 8 pm. But his friend was accepted last week... he is hoping they didn't tell the "Yes" students already, and Wednesday will be all the "nos." Why would they say this, and then tell someone a week earlier?</p>
<p>Maybe it is a kid they really want. Happened to my daughters at other schools. They never received a call but eventually in. </p>
<p>I think all of the kids who received acceptances last week were “early writes”, which are kids at the top of the applicant pool who CC really want.</p>
<p>DD received her email last week as well. I don’t think it has any bearing on other admissions decisions.</p>
<p>Seems like your son’s friend got an early write for Connecticut. Early writes are for those students that a certain school really likes and really wants. The majority of decisions (both acceptances, waitlists, and rejections) are released on the 26th. Best of luck to your son!</p>
<p>Yesterday someone received an invite to the “Spring Preview” at Conn but I didn’t receive one. Does anyone know if only those who were accepted got that email? </p>
<p>I too did not get an email to a “Spring Preview.” I hope this does not mean I did not get in. I can’t wait till 8pm till I get to see my decision. </p>
