I’m currently a new 10th grader at Phillips Academy, and the experience here is absolutely worth it. My favorite part about coming here is the people. Never have I been surrounded by academically driven people from around the world before coming to Andover, and I always love to hear about their backgrounds. We recently invited various boarding schools for a regional dance, and it was very fun. However, this made me think about the students at other boarding schools. I wish there was a way for students at Andover to meet students at other boarding schools. If there was a program where students can have the option to visit other schools over weekends, (or maybe switch schools for a day!) I feel like it would be a valuable experience.

Is there any way this can happen?

I’m a newbie here and I’m waiting to hear where my DC’s will attend this fall, so I only know so much. However, while visiting Exeter, I heard a bit about Exeter/Andover day. And I think Choate has a day when they host Deerfield, and vice versa. I think those days are mostly sports-oriented. But they seem to be days where students can show their team spirit while getting to know kids at the other schools. Others here will know better than I do.
