<p>Thanks for the insight. I realize that it’s an odd question to ask but I felt that it could either show professionalism or annoy the admissions counselor.</p>

<p>Well if you think about it, LinkedIn is supposed to benefit people through networking. What benefit would you be to the admissions counselor? That sounds mean but it’s true of any applicant. Right now it’s a one way relationship.</p>
