Considering Transferring

I am currently a freshmen engineering student at Penn State. However, I am considering transferring to CU Boulder. The main reason is because Penn State has so little around it that all there is to do here is study and drink (for the most part). I know Boulder is also a party school, but there's much more to do than just drink on the weekends.

I had applied to CU Boulder senior year of high school and got accepted without a problem. I had a 1980 on the SATs with a 760 in math and around a 3.0 in high school. Here at college I've got a 3.41 with a fairly busy schedule (engineering courses, 2 jobs, fraternity). Needless to say, I'm not worried about getting accepted.

However, I am curious about the transfer process, and am just wondering if anybody has had any experience with it or knows anything about how easy/difficult it is to transfer as far as credits and classes are concerned. Of course, any other information you may have about transferring would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
