Consolidated list of AP books? 200 posts???? what the ... HELL?

What are the BEST (also most up-to-date if available) AP prep books for the following AP classes?

Chem
Phys B
Econ Macro & Micro
USH
American Govt
Eng Lit (prep book necessary?)
Span Lang (prep book necessary?)

I am lazier and dumber than any of you can possibly imagine. Therefore, I can't do a statistics analysis on the important list in this forum. Please help! In exchange I will give you a cookie. With nuts.

I tend to find that thread really frustrating. People tell you all the time to head over there, but when you ask questions, no one answers them.

So you ask them in another topic, and they tell you to go check the thread... neverending cycle, man. :P

As for Chem, I went with a combination of Barron's and Princeton. I'll let you know what I ended up with come Wednesday, I guess.

Because alot of the questions are already answered arthurbulla.

Chemistry - PR
Physics B - PR
Economics - PR
USH - AMSCO
American Gov't - PR

More like because people rarely check the thread if they've already looked through it, so the only people who post are those who have questions.

I definitely remember asking about what the consensus on a couple subjects (that were barely touched, and each time with a different book/response) was, and I received no answers.

US History - REA or AMSCO
US Govt. - I used REA & thought it was okay. Barron's seemed more in-depth, though. I didn't really care about the test too much. XD

US history - for the ACTUAL class i used REA and pulled off an A without really ever reading my textbook (it was the stupidest textbook ever) but for the test i just used sparknotes online (look under SATii) and that was fantastic and FREE--i got a 5, they give you an A-Z list of all the important terms, names, blah blah and they go into the themes of each different era and detailed study of almost everything

Physics - used Princeton Review, has good stuff and problems but sometimes the way they explain things is really confusing - so i went to sparknotes online and it made modern physics / thermal physics really easy to understand
