<p>The college I will be attending offers this degree. I am interested in it and want to know what y'all think. </p>
<p>I'm going to contact the college tomorrow to set up a meeting with that particular advisor. </p>
<p>Maybe y'all can open up new questions for me. </p>
<p>The two things I really want to know are whether or not it's worth it and in this economy will it be very marketable?</p>

<p>Construction has been down for a while now. I think it’s starting to make a comeback, but it’s still probably far off pre-recession levels.</p>
<p>It’s a marketable degree when the economy is good. Right now it’s not, but it doesn’t seem to be getting worse; the industry seems to have steadied. Who knows what it’ll be like in a few years.</p>
<p>When construction was booming, it was one of the better undergraduate degrees to get in terms of starting salary and job placement. Not sure if things will ever return to the way things were though.</p>
