Can you read....where did i say deloitte does not have management consulting? Do you even know what kind of projects they get? I do. I was mentored for 8 weeks by a senior manager that spent 7 years at deloitte consulting in los angeles. The big 4 used to all have strong consulting units, until 3 sold, deloitte was about to seperate naming the new consulting firm baxter i believe, but it never went through. Reading comprehension seems to be a problem for you.

feel free to browse the other big3 firms and tell me what services they offer.

I don't give a crap what the other Big 3 offer, because Deloitte Consulting offers it. Hence "Feel free to browse Deloitte Consulting", and not PwC.

You seem to lack short term memory.

"There is a big difference between the consulting that big4 do and firms such as mckinsey, bain, etc."

Sorry if that doesn't imply that Deloitte Consulting doesn't have management consulting (aka the SAME **** they do) then I don't know what does.

First, op asked about big 4, second the jobs at deloitte are still different than the jobs at mckinsey. They are still competitors, but deloitte does a lot more tech implementation work than it does human capital or s&o. Deloitte has professionals that cover every area they need, from social media 2.0 to supply chain You work at d&t, go ask. There should be some free consultants in your building that should happily answer your questions.

You are right, they do cover every area but they do hit on the strategy and management area too. Maybe not as specialized as Mckinsey or BCG. Those analyst positions are far more competitive as well.
