<p>Hey,</p>

<p>Does Bowdoin do anything to help new incoming students to contact each other (excluding roommates)? Or is that left to us? </p>

<p>Secondly, are there more clubs/organizations than what is listed on the site?

<p>Thirdly, when do enrolled students get information packages about roommates, student visas (for international students), specific dates, etcetc?</p>

<p>1.) no. but when you get your email account you can sign up for <a href="http://www.thefacebook.com%5B/url%5D"&gt;www.thefacebook.com&lt;/a> - everyone's a member basically.</p>

<p>2.) I think so, those are officially recognized clubs. There are probably more that just aren't on the list.</p>

<p>3.) Not quite sure, I think its towards the end of may??? not positive though, sorry.</p>

<p>But yeah, <a href="http://www.thefacebook.com%5B/url%5D"&gt;www.thefacebook.com&lt;/a> is REALLY popular on most campuses now, you can meet people, edit your profile, join groups, tons of stuff.</p>

<p>I did the admitted students chat last night and one of the admissions people said we'd be getting a big packet of info about roommate selection, moving in, pre-orientation trip, etc. toward the end of May</p>
