Does anybody know how to contact a Stanford regional rep? Will they give me their phone number if I call the main admissions office? Specifically, I'm looking for the Kansas/midwest one. Thanks!

Umm..for general questions there is no need for regional rep. If you need to send additional information then you should fax it and it will get to the regional rep. My advice would be to call the admissions department, tell them your dilemna, and hope they send you to the right person to deal with it.

I have contacted the Stanford International Admissions Office by e-mail on numerous occasions, with the same person replying each time. On every occasion the reply barely addressed my question/s, and was merely a generic response. Because I can not rely on Stanford for an answer I was just wondering, is there a difference between receiving an email to confirm they have RECEIVED my application and an email to notify me that they have PROCESSED my application?

Call the admissions office Directly. I did that concerning a bad grade I got from one of my classes. The person I talked to told to submit a statement explaining the reasons for that grade.

how bad was te bad grade

I had a "D" in my Intro to Logic. Here are the reasons for the grade:

The Professor could not explain the class material clearly

The assignments and the workbook were very difficult to understand by myself

They were no academic support services(Tutorial) available

My classmates were unwilling to help me out or to form a study group

The Professor was not available after class if I had a problem to talk about
Had these things occured, I would not have gotten a "D" in the class. Also, I tried to drop the class, but I was too late for that. Never again will I ever register for a class until I know about the professor's history.

Its rather hard to call the admissions office because I am in Australia... Have you got any other advice?

Email the admissions office.

Didn't I mention above that I've already done that?
