Contacting UC's about schedule changes...

So, my Spring Quarter schedule has recently changed, and I need to contact UCLA/UCB to let them know. Does anyone know how I should contact them? I have a friend that said UCB only accepts faxes about schedule changes. Is that true?

yeah, UCB needs a fax. 510 - 642 - 7333.

I am 99% sure that's right. You need to call the admissions office to verify that number. Dial their number and hit '6,' don't bother with listening to all the options.

for UCLA, go UCLA Undergrad Admissions: Reporting Changes here.

good luck.

I dropped a class for my spring semester - It doesn't affect having 60 units, and isn't a pre-req or part of IGETC. I emailed UCLA about it, and the UCAPP; do you think I need to notify UCB before they release decisions? Do you think it will affect me at all with admission to let them know later?

yes, most definitely.

don't give them any reason to reject you or rescind your application. any misinformation can be considered as fraud, whether or not it affects your IGETC or pre-req's.

And for sure UCB only accepts faxes to change information? It isn't something I can do over the phone or email?

nope. i already tried. i e-mailed them my change, in addition to the fax. but they tell us to submit faxes. if you try to call, no one will pick up. one automated voice after another.

heh i called and someone picked up for me : )

but anyways ucb told me to both email and fax the changes; plus said that there was no guarantee that they would know about it even if its already in review. which is really shaky in my opinion. but oh well.

faxing is a pain in the uknowwat

i wish all the uc's had such an easy system as ucla. sighs.

lol, you're lucky, i had to try 3 times just to GET to the automated voice.

yeah, i was a bit concerned about the change. if they already reviewed your app, your change is not taken into consideration... so high and mighty...

im a bit worried now. i dropped a non-pre req class a about a week ago, but i thought that it probably wont make a difference. should i just send them a letter now telling them i dropped a class even though decisions are coming out in a week.

damn just realized i still have to notify CAL...of my course changes
