Contesting score?

I just got my score report for the Nov SAT and I noticed that I had got one wrong for the math section (it was in the grid-in section so it wasn't even minus points) and got a 760. I thought one blank (which it technically is I suppose) would get me around a 780ish or was the curve that harsh?

The math curve is always harsh

That’s harsh. I’ve never heard of one wrong going below 770. The worst I’ve had is -2 = 740, which sucked.

According to the College Board, -1 on Math can yield anything 750 and higher. In reality, though, it almost never dips below 780 (occasionally, it’s 770).

im not sure if you mean December SAT. My friend and I went over the math section and I spotted an error he had; after going over the SAT math section, we resolved that there was only one error we could find. He got a 790 on math.

Sadly, the two times I’ve taken the SAT, the curve has been -1 raw = 770 for math :(

Nah, its for the November SAT 1. Idk, I feel like 40 points for a blank (not even a wrong answer >.>) seems wrong but then again idk maybe the curve was really harsh. I could do score verification but I could just be throwing away $50.

okay, the curve for math was officially -1 = 790. Just throwing that out there.

this is for DECEMBER 2009 SAT.

yeah i got -1 on the math three times in a row, 770 on all. ■■■.

Omit 2 = 770 for Dec

Does anyone happen to know what the Nov SAT 1 curve for math was?
