Is it worthwhile to continue a foreign language if you’re not specifically majoring in the language? I’m thinking Spanish here, btw. I completely understand that continuing it makes sense for LA/Chicano Studies major.
A student not in a foreign language and literature major can certainly continue taking foreign language courses to improve proficiency for any reason that the student has, including being helpful to another major.

Thought so. :). Would it go right up to 401-2? (Or what ever number in the 400s)
It’s entirely up to you but the more fluency you build, the more useful the skill, especially once you get to a high-enough level that you can use it for specialized tasks (business, engineering, clinical/premed, etc.)
