Contradiction on EA Policy -- Help!

<p>The Brown website says that if you’re accepted EA, then you must retract all regular and <em>EA</em> applications.</p>

<p>However, on the Brown common application supplement, it says that you agree not to apply ED or <em>EA</em> to any other school. </p>

<p>Anyone else figured out what’s real? As EA is not binding, I don’t know why they’d care.</p>

<p>Brown does not have Early Action, just Early Decision. From a previous thread, it appears that not permitting EA applications is new within the past year or two - a good assumption is that the more restrictive set of rules is the one to follow.</p>
