Contrasting results between the red book and Barrons!

So I've been doing a lot of practice tests- my results are really low on a Barrons practice test compared to the red books. I'm so confused.

1) My red book is a 2005 edition. Do they update the books? Like am I practicing on an easier version or something?
2) Is there a newer version of the red book?
3)Is there anywhere else I can get my hands on real practice tests?
4) I have Barrons, Red Book and Princeton Review. If you've taken the ACT, are tests from the red book the most similar?

thanks! And Good Luck to you if you're writing it in December too!

So my Real ACT Guide only has 3 tests and isn’t the latest edition and i really can’t get one either. BARRONS IS SO MUCH HARDER OMG. I’m really confused! Any opinions guys? HELP :|

It’s the same for me. I score way better on red book than barrons. I hear from other people that barrons is way harder. I wouldn’t go by it.

I sincerely hope so because I did some of the problems on the ACT website and it was more like PR and the Red book. Perhaps, I’ll just study from Barron because a practice test from there really puts me down! Good Luck if you’re writing it December too :)
