Which is easier to get into? I've heard Cook has the lower standards (and nicer dorms), but I'm not sure. With a 3.0 and an 1100, do I have a shot at either?

Anyone? Anyone?

i heard livingston, but your stats (don't know your ECs) aren't that bad for you to aim for the other schools in rutgers.

Wow, really? I was considering Rutgers College a reach.

My ECs aren't very good, but I have a lot of work experience.

My brother was accepted almost immediately to Rutgers College three years ago, and still attends it. Does relation help me at all? (because i put that in my app lol)

I have a 3.7 with a 1040 SAT and was wondering how my stats looked for Livingston college.

3.7 & 1040 can almost definitely get you into Rutgers College. I know someone who got into Livingston last year with a 3.2 and a 1020.

yes, livingston should be no problem with a 3.7 gpa and a 1040 sat. rutgers basically looks at whether or not you've challenged yourself in school. if you've done ECs and you've worked along with your stats of a 3.0 and 1100, i think livingston, cook and possibly any other college in Rutgers is a match for you oa517.

Well, that's just it. I work a lot, and never really took any ECs. When I say a lot, I mean my last paycheck said I worked 45 hours (and that's a little lower than what I usually work).

I got a recommendation from my guidance counselor, and she wrote how I'm dedicated to my job (which involves work with small children) and also my education. But, I heard Rutgers doesn't really look at recommendations. Does this hurt my chances?

Just put down both on your application....BUT there is quite a difference in cook and livingston. Cook is a specialty school for agriculture and life science, while livingston is more of a general arts & science school. Livingston is probably the easiest to get in out of all colleges at Rutgers. It focuses more on business and urban related studies.
