Coolidge Scholarship

Involvement in politics. Speech and debate. Etc

In that case, it won’t be until 7:30 est because Westcoasters won’t be done prior to that

Part of me thinks we would know by now if were finalists. Could someone else call and see what they say?

+1 to policy involvement? My school offers nothing like that: not speech/debate, nor mock trial etc. Only Model UN.

Very poor rust belt public high school.

What is a 36P? What does the P refer to? Did you mean C (Composite)? @misad1892

@pineapple86 Again, I wouldn’t be shocked. Only like 10 people on this thread, of 2,300, supposedly. Speaking about the 2,300 figure: I’m not sure it’s accurate.

I messaged the Foundation on Facebook a while back:

As I said before 2300 applicants was mentioned in an email sent by the foundation to the people who wrote the LOR.

Yeah, or if you helped with a politician’s campaign or something.
By the way, my guess is that it’ll either come out at an hour (7:00,8:00, etc.) or between 7:23-7:29.

Just got the email. Not selected.

@saadzmirza a P, colloquially speaking, indicates a 36 in each of the four multiple choice sections.

Ah. Congratulations! @misad1892

My son also got rejection email.

Uh-oh, here it comes

@magtf1 and @srk2017 what time zone(s) are you in?

Pacific and email came @ 3:43 Pacific.

Sorry to bug you @srk2017 I really am, but what is the first letter of your last name? Trying to understand how they’re sending out emails.

@misad1892: Central time zone. Last name begins with M.

The email notice confirms 2300 applicants and only two eventual winners. On the bright side, the email is good for free admission to the Coolidge State Historic Site! Haha.

All 2290 applicants shall visit on same day! btw, they invite 10 finalists for interview next weekend.

Still no email…
