Cooper Union Class of 2018!

This year's RD decisions should be coming out already! (just found out I got accepted for Mechanical Engineering :)>-)
People who are accepted/decided to go to CU come on up!
Alumni and prospective students are also welcomed!

I got in…electrical engineering

Any artists/architects here?

I got in to mechanical engineering. ;).

how come they announce so fast
isn’t ‘the first week of April’ that they would announce?
or this is just only for Engineer program

Got in for chem eng last week!! I’m going berserk!!! :D

Hey guys I’m a senior at Cooper studying mechanical engineering. Feel free to send me a private message if you have any questions. I don’t usually check these forums, but if you send a PM I should get an email

Anyone know when arch acceptances come out?

I got into Electrical Engineering as an international student! I’m really looking forward to it!

Got into the School of Art! Jeez! I still can’t believe it! Best of luck to everyone else who applied.

Congrat! Omni

When did they let you know and by mail or email?

Email! I’ve noticed their decision emails seem to come around 3pm if that helps.

Omni! I am an international student that applied for art. Im afraid that I might get rejected since I didnt get the acceptance email like you… Or does the CU send out acceptance emails separately? Like in a different timing for each applicants?

Don’t fret, Nandakim! It’s quite possible the timing may be different for you. (I’ve noticed that the ED students seemed to get accepted in waves) Best of luck!

Hey,

I was just wondering whether anyone got a merit scholarship on top of the half tuition scholarship. I got a small merit scholarship in addition.

Raptor

I don’t think anybody’s gotten more scholarship other than the half tuition and a stingy 4K “discovery scholarship” (if I recall correctly)
sadly I’m international so FAFSA is impossible and I get no $$$ beyond 24K whatsoever
seriously what are some of the ways you can reduce the cost of attendance? getting a job/intern on F-1 may be a big hassle…

Accepted to Chem E! Congrats everybody!

Accepted into architecture(:

This is weird… I still havent got my decision email… Doesnt the school close on Sat and Sundays?

I feel they forgot me…no notification at all…isn’t that supposed to be the first week of April!!!
