Cooper Union Egineering Major

I'm applying to Cooper Union Egineering. For the major selection part, do I have to choose one among the five choices, chemical, civil, electrical, mechanical, Interdisciplinary engineering? or Can I just leave it blank? I know that I want to study engineering, but I have vague idea which engineering major I want to study.

Thank you,

Yes. You have to choose a major you want to study.
You can't complete the onlline application if you leave the selection part blank.

If you have vague idea about engineering majors, I recommend you to read Cooper Union course catalog in The Cooper Union: Records & Registrar: Catalog 2005-07

This information will let you have comprehensive understanding of engineering majors.

The Sloan Career Cornerstone Center

This will help you learn about each of the fields.

You have to choose a major, but don't stress too much over it since you have a year to change (the first year courses for all of the majors are pretty much the same). After that it gets a little tougher though.
