Cooper Union, Macaulay Honors, Rutgers

Hi everyone! I’m just wondering if anyone can chance me for the following:

Cooper Union (Engineering)
Macaulay Honors College-The City College of NY
Rutgers’ Honors College

I am currently a Junior who has not taken a single ACT or SAT (oops–I will be taking my first ACT in a week, though) so I know it will be hard to judge my chances but hopefully I have provided enough information. I have also not taken my AP tests yet (those are scheduled for May).

My credentials:

Female, Asian-American, NJ resident

GPA uw: 96.1/4.0
GPA w: 99.9/4.0
SAT II Math 2: 780

AP Courses (currently taking): AP US History, AP Calc BC, AP Chemistry, AP Lang & Comp
anticipated APs for next year (I don’t know if this is irrelevant): AP Lit & Comp, AP Stats, AP Spanish 5, AP Physics C
I have taken Honors level classes for all classes that are available since my freshman year.

Honor Societies: Spanish Honor Society since sophomore year; Math Honor Society since this year
I haven’t formally been inducted but I expect: National Honor Society, Social Studies Honor Society, and Science Honor Society (because they all are just require grade qualification and/or are easy applications)

Extracurriculars:
-Swim Team (freshman-jr year, will be doing sr year)
-Science Olympiad (soph-jr year and next yr; note: I actually initiated this club with a couple of other friends)
-Spanish Club (jr year and will sr year)
-SGA (jr year and will sr year)
-I play piano and guitar but those are self-taught so they are probably considered a hobby

Volunteer:
-Currently have 74 hrs at the local hospital but I only did it over the summer before Jr year.

I know my extracurriculars and volunteering are pretty light and most aren’t long term which may be a problem.

One other thing is that I am in a program for math, science, and engineering (called the "Academy for Math, Science, and Engineering) which is quite selective (as it only accepts 26 of maybe a little over 200 applicants from around my county). I’m not sure but I think it’s a pretty recognized program (it ranked 3rd in the nation on Newsweek’s list of “America’s Top High Schools”; I honestly find this pretty arbitrary but others seem to think it means prestige)
Overall, it IS a rigorous program that does force its students to challenge their minds (I’m not trying to boast, it’s not a bs program but it’s probably not as mighty as many believe-which is just the opinion of someone in the program who actually experiences its reality). This school is technically part of a vocational technology school but we are very different from the other programs (which are mostly trade programs) of that school and we don’t even learn in the same building.

I would very much appreciate if anyone would take their time to chance me for the aforementioned schools. Also, if you have and advice for improving my creds or can tell me what ACT/SAT scores I should be shooting for to get in, that’d be great.

Thank you!
