Copying a college essay?

Ok, my teacher provided us with some college essay samples. One who got accepted to the same college I'm applying to had the most distinct topic. The problem is, I came up with the same distinct topic. After reading that college essay, I wrote my own and I got a lot of ideas from that accepted college essay. Especially , I could only think of the same examples. This year being my worst so far( seriously everything happens this year: dad leaving job, car accident, hospital admit and a ton of AP classes<<< I asked colleges and they said they don't care unless it's hurricane sandy) I have arrived at the last point. College essays are due in 2 days and I want to submit tomorrow by all chances. So in the length of time I have left I cannot come up with anything creative as I have to write six other essays!!!
Would that be copying if I pick the same topic for issue of importance? And use about the same examples and thoughts as well. The weird way this person think in his essay is exactly how I think.

^^ is this plagiarizing??

Help help help help

Yes, lifting someone else’s topic, examples, and thoughts is plagiarizing.

What school is this, that has a regular application deadline of November 28th? If you wanted to apply ED / EA, you ought not have put 7 essays off until the night before you want to press “send.”

Do yourself a favor - write your own essays, with your own thoughts, in your own voice, in a reasonable period of time. Whatever boost you hope to get from applying early is going to be more than cancelled out by rushing the application process.

Oh actually I’m applying to many other colleges as well. And the deadline is December 1 but the essays needed to be submitted early so other optional things could be submitted before the deadline. But thank you I would try to take that as a suggestion. But is it possible that I take the a same distinct topic and an example but change everything else. Actually the topic can be chosen by a distinct many but the example is the same as mine cuz I am as weird as the essay accepted. Can I use this strategy?
